These mats come with a small warming cable attached at the perfect spacing for even heating. To use, you need only roll the mat out, cover with foil and place your plants on top whether they are in seed trays, pots, roottrainers or anything the heat mat will provide the steady warmth neccesary for germination or the striking of cuttings.

The thermostat is highly accurate (to half a degree) and comes with a remote probe- you can insert the probe into the relevent compost in the sed tray for pinpoint accuracy exactly where you need it.

It's easy to roll up and put away once you've finished using it- unlike a normal soil warming cable which you tend to have to leave in a pernament dedicated bench.
