Box section corner bars, gutters and ridge ensure good performance in high winds.
What's more you can also upgrade to the bar capping system which eliminates clips completely from your greenhouse- Glass will then be held in along it's full length with matching PVC capping- providing a far neater finish and superior strength in windy conditions.
Please note that we are INCLUDING the galvanised base in the price. Sometimes retailers price the base as an optional extra, but most customers need the galvanised base as it removes the need for a brick plinth. Just sit the greenhouse straight onto slabs or soil (soil anchors included; add the concrete anchoring kit for slabs or concrete). As standard the metal base is in plain galvanised metal colour, however you can upgrade to a matching green finish to perfect the look of your greenhouse
Also included in this package is large pane toughened safety glass, a louvre window for the rear, two automatic roof vent openers. This greenhouse is an ideal starter pack and is excellent value for money.
Q. With full sheet toughened glass, if I have extra louvres will I need to cut the glass to make them fit?
A. No, you won't have to do that. We automatically adjust the toughened glass for you, it is quite often the case that extra louvres and vents are added. You will have the correct glass delivered.
Q. I have put down slabs for the foundation. Can i just lay the base on top of this ?
A. You will need to fix the galvanised steel base of the greenhouse to the slab foundation with rawlplugs and screws.
Q. Hi - I am interested in this greenhouse or something similar but won't be able to install / erect it myself. Do you offer an installation service as this is the only thing putting me off purchasing?
A. Any customer that orders a greenhouse from us receives a nationwide list of approved professional greenhouse fitters.
Q. Hi, Does this greenhouse have integral gutters? Thanks,
A. Yes, the Classic 6ft x 8ft Green Greenhouse has integral gutters.

Good value for money nice looking greenhouse. The installation instructions were not clear at all.
Excellent greenhouse, reasonably easy to put together. Read the instructions and additional information a few times before startting.
Excellent no hassle delivery. Easily erected by one person. A great buy.
1st class greenhouse and service i also used your listed installer arrived on the agreed date job complete within 5 hours raining non-stop while he was erecting greenhouse well worth the extra cost
This really is an excellent greenhouse at a great price. The details that were sent before delivery regarding base preparation were very useful and the assembly instructions were good enough for me to erect it on my own with some occasional help from my wife. Overall, I'd highly recommend this greenhouse and the Greenhouse People.
Excellent greenhouse with easy to follow instructions. Important to set the base level and square before you begin. It will take two people two days to erect. The finished job looks really good.
No problems delighted with greenhouse very substantial no issues with erecting good quality product. Excellent service would recommend
I was really please with this greenhouse, it is excellent quality, great value for money and quite easy (albeit time consuming) to erect. Congratulations on an excellent product.
Look at other sites, this was by far the best value. Very nice product, easy to put up, spent a few hours sorting puting the panles together one night, then put frame together and glass in one day. Mangage to do it all without needing any help. I bought the bar capping, made fitting the glass easy.
1st class product,1st class service
Very pleased with whole package.Easy to follow instructions and all components numbered, and fitted together perfectly.Assembled and glazed by myself in 1 day with no problems.
Once you get the hang of the cryptic instructions erecting the greenhouse was straightforward. The first few bolts had damaged threads but fortunatelyu there were sufficient spares. 100% satisfied.
Good value greenhouse, easily built with good instructions. I used the bar capping which was not as tight a fit as I would have liked.
I had never built a greenhouse before, so I was completely reliant on the instructions, which were absolutely excellent. We took our time and read everything until we were sure before we started. Delivery was quick and your driver was very friendly and helpful. It was all up and working in one sunny weekend. Great value for a real quality product.
Good package, cheaper on line than in the catalogue.Reasonably easy to erest if you use a bit of common sense and follow the order methodically. would prefer some additional written instruction as some images are small for older eyes
I am delighted with my new greenhouse - and with the service from the Greenhouse People. I'm very pleased that I decided to pay someone to put it up (Nigel Hanbury - did an excellent job) as it looked more complicated than I expected as a complete novice. Quality of the product is very good.
A VERY GOOD QUALITY GREEN HOUSE, EASY TO ASSEMBLE, WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH IT
very happy with this greenhouse - takes 1-2 days to put up with 2 people
Sound little greenhouse and good value. Bar capping worth the expense - improves rigidity and appearance. Built mine on slab base and 150 mm by 50 mm treated timber frame to give addional eaves and ridge height. Take your time with assembly - finger tight for all the nuts and bolts first, assemble sides and gables over base check plumb and square in both planes before tightening nuts. I found a nut runner (10 mm socket) and a cranked 10 mm open ended spanner useful. Excellent service from the company.
I am absolutely over the moon with this greenhouse. We managed to get it all together in one day (with the help of parents and grandad). We live in a very windy and exposed spot in the North so ordered the bar cappings for extra security. I have sat in the greenhouse when the wind has been howling around and it has survived everything the weather has thrown at it (fingers crossed it will keep doing this!!). I think it was well worth the money and, as my grandad pointed out, it may seem quite a bit now, but if it lasts 40 years like his has done it will have been worth every penny. Perfect size for what I wanted. Which is to have 2 sun chairs in, a small table and my tomatoes and strawberries. I may not be a typical greenhouse owner but it is perfect for what I wanted it for, which was to be able to enjoy the sunshine without getting windburn and grow a few fruit and veg! Only slight negative is that some of the bolts snapped when being tightened and some of the nuts threaded but my grandad had some spare which soon sorted it.
every thing that I ordered, was there and the delivery was spot on even to the time .Very pleased qwith every thing thank you
Delivery excellent. Well packed - only a slight dent in two sections which I can live with. Looks very good value - particularly like the large pane glass and the autovents.
Very pleased with the product and the packaging was excellent.
A greenhouse which matches the description perfectly. Delivery arrangements can't be faulted and the instructions for building, once studied carefully are spot on. If you follow the instructions, you can't go wrong. I can't recommend this item highly enough.
Excellent Greenhouse. Instructions clear and easy to understand.Delivery exactly as stated and delivery driver gave good helpful service.Excellent value.
Cannot comment as goods not yet arrived but would like to say what great service received. This was a gift which we did not actually want delivery of until the New Year and the Company very kindly agreed to hold price and delivery until we were ready for it with only a small deposit.
A very well made product easy to install with every single part in the box.
Excellent quality greenhouse. Straightforward to construct with good clear instructions. Customer service was excellent with knowledgable staff. Highly recommended.
The greenhouse is Ideal for me, it was erected in two days with the help of clear instructions and tips. I would reccommend it
Excellent package, Took a full 2 days to assemble and although 'most' of the information needed is in the instructions, they are very difficult to follow - hence 4 rather than 5 starts. Thumbs were sore for a long time after fitting the glazing strips, but they do give a much better finish. Do not drop a nut or bolt - they do not include any spares! Louvered section would not fit at low level as directed because of the diagonal supports, but fits easily at a higher level. I bought green paint for the base. I also built a base wall out of concrete blocks to give more height as I am over 6' tall. Very pleased with the finished project. When I phoned with a query it was answered promptly.
Went together extreemly well. We had made sure the base was square before assembling the greenhouse. Felt it could have done with small cosmetic trim at corners and at each side of roof bar.
It took a little time to fathom it out but when I started the assembley I enjoyed it very much. I almost completed it today but I ran out of glass tape .I was dissappointed that I ordered it before you offered a free thermometer.Had aslight problem with the vents as the plans were a little difficult to follow utherwise I am completley satisfied. Thanks D.Rowe
Very pleased with the sevice and the finished product. It took two people two days to build, only problem was with the nuts and bolts which were not strong enough and had a very low torque, had to use a lot of our own.otherwise everything else was great. Finished product looks really good.
Greenhouse was delivered on time (call a few days ahead to advise arrival date). Easy to put together good quality. I would certainly recommend this product.
A well made product with a high quality finish. It came complete with galvanized base, two automatic roof vents and one louvred vent. The assembly instructions were very good with clear illustrations for each stage. Assembly was straight forward as long as time was taken to study the instructions. Regarding glazing, the double sided adhesive foam was a bit tricky to apply being flimsy, a heavier grade would be better. The toughened glass was easy to handle as the heat tempering of the panes reduced the sharp edges and the clips which hold the glass in place were easy to fit. Two improvements would be the use of higher grade aluminium nuts and bolts as it was easy to overtighten causing either the bolt to break or the thread to strip. Also the addition of an inside door handle would be an advantage. A very good well made greenhouse at a very reasonable price.
Selection and ordering process easy. Payment process simple however when paying by credit card in two installments be aware that you may have to reissue card details. Delivery was convenient however if you wish to be present then schedule may need to change depending on drivers delivery sequence. Communications with the office to confirm delivery and payments details were very professional and friendly. Quality of product very good, some minor dents in metalwork and blemish on one glass panel but neither affect products external appearance or fitness for purpose. Instructions were adequate but recommend users read several times before starting. Can be assembled by one person with care. Only difficulty was with the double sided foam since it had a tendency to stick to everything and not remain in a roll. It also meant that when positioning the glass you needed to get it right first time. Ensure the rear apex triangle is fitted in association with the lower glass panels, since it cannot be inserted afterwards. Once fully assembled and secured it is a solid and stable unit. One safety warning is that the metal base is constructed from guillotined metal before folding, consequently the edges may be razor sharp. Overall a very good product and service.
Went together well althgough in parts the instructions could have been clearer
The greehouse package arrived on time and without any problems. Putting the package together was straight forward it took 2 days, one for the frame and one for the glazing. It is an easy job if you read all instructions before starting the project, good advice is given, you should pay attention to getting the base level very important.
The greenhouse itself took me the best part of 1.5 days to construct (although i was doing it all on my own),i'm no novice to flat packs but the instructions for this are not the easiest which is why it took so long as i was stopping to check and re check what i was doing. The shed base is a life saving must in my oppion, it's ridgid and of course square so as long as you get it level your on to a winner. if you've got it i'd advise using an electric drill with a spanner attachment otherwise you'll be there the best part of another day just fixing bolts! still you don't want it to fall apart. All in all this is a nice greenhouse when finished, everything was packaged and labeled well and although the instructions are complex becouse it wasn't something i'd built before they do cover everything (clearer better pictures would help). I would definately recommend this to anyone wanting a smart functional greenhouse. p.s. Don't forget to apply the sealant trim behind the glass when fitting it like i did!
Good value for money having the optional extra auto vents toughened glass, bar capping fitted is a must. Took my time installing the framework due to weather conditions, made sure the glass was fitted in a day. Help was at hand with two Grandchildren 13 & 16 Impossible to do otherwise. Don't make any mistakes with the glass insulating strip there's only just enough. Don't overtighten the nuts they strip quite easy. The toughened glass and bar capping adds to the structure of the aluminium frame which is quite lightweight.
Easy to fit together only real problem I had was the louvre window would not fit in the rear central section without trimming about 3mm off it. Also, roof glass slips down as the retaining lip is not deep enough to retain. No way to adjust. Your technical people sent plastic strips which have helped. I presume this has occurred before and would apprciate feedback. Technical support was very good.
The greenhouse is fine but the instructions are poor. The illustrations are OK but there should be some text to help with the difficult bits. There are difficult bits if its the first greenhouse youhave built!
Brilliant company and a fantastic greenhouse. Greenhouse did not arrive on the agreed date which was very frustrating. Came early the next morning. Called the company to complain and was given a refund of the delivery cost. Struggled a little with the instructions but one call and our problems were solved. Had a problem with some panes of glass and once again a quick call and new glass arrived the next morning. Love my greenhouse and am very impressed with the customer service we received. Would definitely recommend this greenhouse.
Simplicity Classic 8*6 delivered yesterday by Ian, the driver. Not yet got it assembled (the approved fitter will be starting the job in a couple of days). If the greenhouse is anything like the attitude of the driver who delivered it we certainly won't be disappointed. IMO Ian is a tremendous ambassador for the Greenhouse People, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products the company sells.
The first thing to say is a huge thank you to "The Greenhouse People" for their updating e mails, delivery (by them not by courier) and mostly to the delivery chap who scaled our steps to place the frame close to the proposed greenhouse site and who placed all the glass on timber runners, up against a wall and with polystyrene packing between the glass and the wall. Well done. Apologies for being away and not being there to help, my wife says you were great. You are supposed to read through the instructions before starting but I don't know anyone who does that. It was once explained to me that if you sat and read the rules to Monopoly you would be totally flummoxed but have a go and it all becomes clearer. My greenhouse had a base to go on grass or earth and was eight feet by six feet and I managed the whole thing unaided but can see where another pair of hands would be useful if the greenhouse was longer, especially when joining a side wall with an end wall. Wall sections have little weight to them before glazing and are easily handled and I found that resting each wall section on the base helped keep it in place while the appropriate fixings were made to join the walls together. Each double page of the instructions has a picture of the element that you are building, exploded diagrams of the joints and a parts list to tell you what should be involved. What makes things easier is that the overall pack of parts is sub divided and packed in elements (for example a wall) separately and these packs are numbered so you can't really go wrong. Inside each pack, each bar is individually numbered also. One thing I did early on was to go through the large bag of nuts bolts and covers and move all the covers to a separate bag to make it easier to find the nuts and bolts in the semi tipped out bag. Using both a ratchet socket wrench and a screwdriver that takes sockets, I soon rejected the wrench after over tightening nuts and snapping two bolts then praying there were spares. I needn't have worried incidentally. I liked the fact that where confusion could arise, say for instance you could have a bar with a plus sign as a cross section and not know which way around it goes, then there is only one way as if you try it the wrong way you find a channel or similar in the way. All the way through the construction I had the feeling that someone had tried out the instructions and where there could be confusion they had either changed the instructions or changed the cross section of the bar until the improvement had been made and confusion eliminated. It wasn't until the glazing stage that I realised that said channels are actually where the glass rests so, if you know this at the outset then it makes life easier to realise that those glazing channels face outward to take the glass and this helps in positioning plus section bars. I only had one minor moment of confusion when I had completed the greenhouse front (the wall with the door in it) and found that I had a dreaded two pieces of bar left over. I noted the numbers on the bars and flicked forward in the instructions to find the table with the part numbers on and realised that they were the bars that hold the sliding door at the top but are not put on at that stage. Having bought my greenhouse in Autumn to get a good price I found the disadvantage of trying to find a couple of days without high winds, in November, so that I could glaze the constructed shell and then concrete in the legs to the base that were sitting in holes, before a wind blew the whole thing over. The instructions recommend doing things in this order so that the bars can move a bit, if necessary, during glazing, before the final anchor is put into place. I then needed a dry day to add the glazing pads before glazing as the instructions have a large, crossed out H2O next to the pads. Take note from the instructions that these pads run along the vertical bars only. 10 anchors were shown on the instructions but more were in the pack so I kept going until they ran out and thoroughly locked the structure down to the metal base. I also had two opening vents and these were small enough to construct on the living room carpet, in the dry, in the warm, with my coat off - bliss. My tip on glazing is to study carefully the glazing clip diagram. I didn't and found them hard to put in at first. What the diagram is telling you is that the zig-zag side of the clip is placed in the edge of the frame and then the other end of the clip (the right angled end) is slid across the glass until it drops into place. Work from the most awkward part of the greenhouse towards the pane that is easiest to get to. I worked from a platform inside the greenhouse with my head through the roof leaning over each pane to clip it on its furthest side. The louvre vent confused me for a bit. I didn't want it on the end opposite the door as that faces north and would form cold drafts. Placing it near the floor on the side was impossible due to the supporting angled cross bars. The answer (see photo) was to place the large pane at the bottom, the vent above it and the small pane (that was supposed to be at the bottom) placed on the top of the vent. All in all a good buy that I am very pleased with. I would, and will, recommend The Greenhouse People to anyone who asks me how things went. Right then, winter lettuce in, roll on Spring.
The Simplicity Classic Green Package is an excellent buy and very good value. The delivery driver was extremely prompt, and was both polite and very helpful. The suggested istallers were first class workmen and have done a lovely job of installing the greenhouse. We couldn't be more pleased with the whole thing. The only thing we would suggest is, if you are having a greenhouse delivered in the winter and not errected the same day, store the glass in a sheltered place. The installers had a lot of trouble separating the sheets due to frost which made their job lot harder and longer. Satisfied customer
Thank You, you sent me clear messages about delivery. I came at exactly the time you had estimated. The delivery driver was great and carried the parts of the greenhouse a long way from our entrance into the garden where I was planning to erect the greenhouse. It was straightforward to erect.
i have now erected my greenhouse and have nothing but praise for the product, taking my time i found the instructions good and everything ent smoothly.the only small problem was the plasic guides on thye door were to tight for a smooth operation this was easily cured with a small file. Delivey was excellent and the driver could not be more helpful he really deserves a pat on the back.I will never heswitate to use your company again and will always reccomend yoy when I can.
Delivery was excellent, on time and skillfully unloaded. I found the instructions to be clear and precise. After reading the instructions I found the assembly straight forward. Some of it can be done solo, but it does need two when it comes to erecting and fixing together the sides and putting the roof glass in. Really pleased with the finished product and it looks great in the garden, so much nicer than the usual aluminium finish.
Cannot comment as goods not yet arrived but would like to say what great service received. This was a gift which we did not actually want delivery of until the New Year and the Company very kindly agreed to hold price and delivery until we were ready for it with only a small deposit.
Great service by the Greenhouse people, arrived on the day specified, helpful delivery guy laid everything in my garage as requested. All parts delivered. I built a brick base so did not build it up straight away but started the sections in the garage on rainy days. I found it easier to construct a wood batten frame supported by two trestles to enable the sides, front & back to assembled horizontally, it saved a lot of bending & kept the parts steady. The instruction book was very clear & it was helpful to have the pre-installation instructions prior to delivery in order to prepare. I had two damaged parts which were immediately despatched to me by post & arrived the next day. One warning though, the kit has only the exact amount of screws, nuts, glazing clips, glazing rubber strip ( to the inch/cm)so there is no room for error or mislaying anything, it was a bit scary doing the glazing as I was sure I was going to run out of the sticky rubber strip, but I completed it with nothing to spare, should have trusted them. I am pleased to recommend the Greenhouse People as a very reliable company. Mr J Fullick
Carried out a lot of market research before settling for this package - great value for money coupled with excellent build quality. Definitely needs 2 to install with the toughened glass; instructions, once you get into flow, are clear and concise - day and a half to complete. A pane of glass broke during storage - really pleased with the company's no quibble response to replace. Telephone advice was also clear and helpful, when sought.
nice product, instructions need to be studied carefully before commencing construction. I only had one hitch but after re reading realised I had assembly inside out, the vent at the bottom of the rear wall needs the bolts sliding into place during assembly of the back frame and this isn't mentioned until late in the instructions. Fortunately I spotted this and made provision. All in all straight forward, end product great.
The Green house is excellent quality, very good value -I was impressed with the delivery, and it didn't take too long to build either. I can certainly recommend.
Reasonably straightforward if you study the instructions. I am well pleased with this product so far....Would order again from the greenhousepeople, excellent service. Greenhouse looks well good!!!!!
a good quality greenhouse package, with clear instructions on how to put up. the greenhouse people were a pleasure to deal with keeping me informed of delivery dates and times. i would recommend both the company and the product.
Very good delivery service. Great fun to put it together and instructions were very clear and helpful. It might be worth mentioning that to put the roof glass in place it is best to have someone outside guiding the glass upwards so that it is snug against the apex rail while someone inside keeps it up and away from the (very sticky) black tape. Only when it is snug on the apex and central should the person inside allow it to lower down on to the tape. ( its very hard to re-position once the glass makes contact with the tape. ) When placing the wall panes one person can do it by placing the bottom edge as central as possible while keeping the glass at an outward angle, slightly away from the sides. Then when happy that is is central, slowly move it to an upright position. One small issue was that we seemed to be couple of bolts short. No real problem because I did have some spares at home but could have been a bit frustrating. Apart from that a great product which will I hope will give years of service.
Excellent greenhouse package, looks great but takes a fair bit of time to build with all the bits.
Delivered on time all items checked and clearly identified by driver. Instructions very good. My advice take your time in assembly it will pay dividends later. My 4th Greenhouse in my life but first with single payne toughened glass so I took it careful.Unfortunately one payne was incorrect size but soon corrected by overnight delivery.
I finished my 8x6 classic greenhouse last night! It is superb! The workmanship and finish and consequent appearance is excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Friends and neighbors have been round and sent their friends around to look at it because all visitors have been as impressed as I. It fitted together well and the interactions were clear to follow. I am often frustrated by poorly written instructions but these were easy to follow and accurate and diagrams clear. I am NOT the best at DIY but this was easy and gave huge job satisfaction! I would and have and do recommend this excellent reasonably priced and easy to assemble greenhouse to all. Well done Greenhouse People I could not improve on this excellent package! I am contended and pleased I chose your product from many other alternatives but yours proved to be in a class of it's own!
I love this greenhouse I thought it was going to be a very complecated to put to gether it was very easy and if not for the weather being so bad it would only have taken two days i cant say how pleased I am with the whole prosess from start to finish it went up well and looks great
Fantastic, very pleased with Greenhouse. Would recommend upgrade to Bar Capping. Ordering and delivery great. The only error we made was when fitting the louvre - were we had already fitted the cross bar - we just placed louvre in top half of unit rather than bottom to avoid dismantling. Great value package
It helps to read the instructions (line drawings) really thoroughly before you start erection. Finished product is just great. If you are screwing the base down, I think it would be helpful to drill the holes (or at least pilot holes) in the base before assembly.
A very very good greenhouse and the package had lots of extras. My husband and Son erected it in one day, but my son is an engineer and designer, so could read the instructions easily. We had a small problem with a piece of glass being the wrong size, but customer services sent me the right one out promptly. The nuts and bolts where not very good, according to my husband and son but we had some of our own so they could replace the ones that threads went. All in all a very very good greenhouse and excellend service
A small problem when starting the assembly until I realized that all the drawings are shown from the inside. Overall very easy to build, I built mine myself on one day and glazed it the next - slight problem fitting the apex glass above the louvres but eventually no problem. It is the first time I have built a greenhouse and found it all relatively simple once I had identified all the extrusions.
after ordering my green house i was sent full details of the way my green house would be delivered this was spot on and when i had a small problem a phone call to tecnical dept sorted easely .
we are very pleased with our greenhouse - both the looks and quality. We chose this model as it came with a number of options that were all included in the price rather than as additional extras. The greenhouse arrived promptly and my husband assembled it over two days with the help of his brother. It was a trouble free installation which was a pleasant surprise. All in all a good purchase.
This is a great greenhouse package and has everything you want for a small greenhouse. The automatic openers are fantastic once installed. I just used the spiked base to go into the ground rather than more permanent fixings and it has proved to be extremely solid. This is a good quality greenhouse thats takes a bit of putting together but it is well worth it in the end.
I'm really pleased with my new greenhouse, it looks great in my garden, is robust, watertight and very good quality. The only drawback is the instruction booklet which, although we know from our previous greenhouse purchased from The Greenhouse People, is difficult to make head or tail of, it's a nightmare when trying to erect a 6 x 8 greenhouse in the wind and reading the instructions at the same time. Nevertheless, it would not stop me from buying this greenhouse again and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Couldn't be happier with this greenhouse! Customer service also very good - delivery driver left a sheet of glass on the van and they were really helpful sorting out. Really good package deal as well. 10/10 thanks
Really good greenhouse. Quite easy to assemble, although I wouldn't like to do it single-handed! Some of the instructions took a bit of working out, but we got there in the end and now have a lovely, sturdy greenhouse which looks great in the green finish.

Greenhouses can be far better looking these days than they ever used to be. You can now pick any of our range in an attractive coloured powder coated finish, so now a greenhouse can be the centrepiece of your garden.
Traditionally, greenhouses always used to sit on a little brick plinth. Now however, most of the greenhouses in our range can be fitted with a metal base. This means that you can fix the greenhouse straight onto either a concrete foundation or one made of concrete slabs. Greenhouse manufacturers make various types of metal base.Using our experience of installing greenhouses we decided to offer our customers a base design that incorporates all the best features of these bases but which is simple to install and much stronger in order to achieve an improved life-span.
Our galvanised metal bases include anchor legs in each corner, more on greenhouses of 10ft length and above. This design allows you to anchor your greenhouse straight into the soil by digging a hole in the ground under each anchor leg and then use concrete to secure the legs into the ground. However, while this method maybe satisfactory,we would strongly advise that you should always have a solid concrete or paving slab foundation under your greenhouse, especially if it is larger than 6ftby 8ft.
Features of our metal bases:
-Made from steel for strength and galvanised to prevent rust.
-Neater finish (as pictured) since the outside face is smooth. Complete with an anchor leg in each corner, plus extra legs on longer models for anchoring into soil.
-Brackets are provided to fix the metal base to the greenhouse frame making it much easier to install the greenhouse because less drilling is required.
- Guaranteed for 10 years - for peace of mind.
- Full instructions included.
Toughened glass is approx 700% stronger than horticultural glass, so it is far harder to break. When it does break, it disintegrates into hundreds of tiny pieces, so it is far safer than horticultural glass ( which can form dangerous daggers of glass when broken)
However, the main reason that the toughened glass is now so popular is that it is supplied in large sheets- This means that there are no overlaps between the panes (with normal horticultural glass, you get a 10mm overlap between every pane, these fill up with dirt and algae and become unsightly) With large pane toughened glass, you get a greenhouse that looks far neater, is easier to keep clean, and of course is safer.
Your new greenhouse is designed to give you enjoyment for many years. For piece of mind, all our greenhouses have a free 10-year frame guarantee. This valuable guarantee against any manufacturing faults also extends to your choice of metal base and powdercoated coloured finish.
Exclusions include moving parts, glazing, wind and accidental damage.
These handy devices open vents automatically and don't require batteries, working from heat alone.
Also, they tend to allow the vent to open more than a conventional manual opener, equaling better ventilation.
