N.b. Image shows the door in left-hand end of the greenhouse.
This new Southwold lean-to model is ideal if you are looking for a small lean-to and height is a little limited (for example against a garage).
The 7' ridge height can be reduced even further by removing the 4" base, although you will need something for the cill to lip over, such as a 1" thin lath of wood.
The door is on the right-hand end as standard, we can put the door on the left-hand end if required, simply add the left-hand end door to your order.
Although the standard glazing is small pane horticultural glass, most customers now are upgrading to the large pane toughened glass the large panes mean that there are no unsightly overlaps and the greenhouse looks far better as a result. The green finish can really help your greenhouse to look good and the optional bar capping system (with Toughened glass only) can be added to replace the glazing clips with full-length PVC Strips.
The sturdy frame, which includes double box section corner bars, gives you confidence that your greenhouse will last for years, as does your free 10 Year frame guarantee.
We strongly recommend that you upgrade your glass to the toughened safety glass.
Toughened glass is about 7 times stronger than horti glass
When you upgrade to toughened glass you increase the strength of you glazing by up to 7x. As a rough guide - it may take a football (but not a cricket ball)
Toughened glass is far neater
The standard horticultural glass is in small 2ft panes with overlaps between panes. these overlaps can become filled with dirt and algae in time and then it is hard to keep your greenhouse clean. When you upgrade to Toughened glass, we supply this in large panes with no overlaps between panes so your greenhouse looks better from the start and is far easier to keep on top of. Remember too that cleaner glass gives you more light transmittance which improves growth.
Toughened glass is safer.
Anyone can slip, trip or fall near a greenhouse and when you upgrade to toughened glass you do so with the peace of mind that when it does break it will disintegrate into thousands of smaller pieces rather than dangerous dagger-like shards. toughened glass is far less likely to cause injury than horti glass.
If you add nothing else, then do add the toughened glass, it’s a little more money of course, but in the long term you will be pleased that you chose it (and of course you can’t add it later)

Q. With full sheet toughened glass, if I have extra louvres will I need to cut the glass to make them fit?
A. No, you won't have to do that. We automatically adjust the toughened glass for you, it is quite often the case that extra louvres and vents are added. You will have the correct glass delivered.
