The Simplicity Orangery is a well proportioned greenhouse consisting of a main greenhouse with a porch on the side. The generous double doorway provides easy access and ample room for seating within. Although this model is primarily designed as a greenhouse, many people do use them as a warm shelter in the garden where you can sit and read or enjoy a family meal.
Powder coated in a durable Anthracite coloured finish, this Orangery will blend in nicely in the garden making both a feature and a useful structure for either growing or enjoying outdoor life.
Most greenhouses do not include diagonal roof braces, however - The Orangery comes complete with six! These useful additions dramatically improve the strength of the frame, plus they make the greenhouse easier to assemble, as they square the greenhouse, ensuring everything is correct. There are also heavy duty cantilever braces on every eaves and ridge position
This models includes full length PVC bar capping glazing strips to retain the large pane toughened glass. (instead of the usual metal clips) This gives a far neater finish and is stronger in the wind
All prices for this model include a sturdy aluminium base (4" high), complete with anchors. The Aluminium base gives you a firm foundation which can be assembled on soil, slabs or concrete and makes the job of assembly quicker and easier
The unique Simplicity double box section corner bar gives the frame more rigidity than most other greenhouses. Along with the exclusive foam cushion glazing seal, this helps prevent loss of panes in windy weather. In our simple test, we were able to suspend 6 bags of cement (150kg) where as other makes of greenhouse were buckling with 50- 75 kg
Door wheels are made from hard-wearing nylon. The door wheel bolt is turned from solid brass with a smooth shank to reduce wear on the wheel. This costs us more than other ways of doing it, but we know how frustrating it can be if wheels disintegrate on your greenhouse after a few years - and spares can be hard to come by.
This model is made in the UK by the greenhouse people in our own factory.
Please note that any furniture and cushions used within this Orangery should be for external use because no greenhouse is 100% waterproof and of course they will get a lot of sunlight on them as well.

Q. With full sheet toughened glass, if I have extra louvres will I need to cut the glass to make them fit?
A. No, you won't have to do that. We automatically adjust the toughened glass for you, it is quite often the case that extra louvres and vents are added. You will have the correct glass delivered.

Installed about 5 weeks ago this grenhouse has proved a worthwhile purchase. I would suggest that construction is beyond average DIY capability and I used one of the recommended installers at a cost of about £500. It is light and airy and keeps temperature well. I have one side vent and 4 roof vents with aotomatic openers which prevents overheating. Plants are growing well and we have some chairs to enable sitting 'in' the garden during cooler evenings. Good people to do business with, helpful and responsive.
