I wanted both drain pipes going into one water butt. The fitting worked perfectly with the t-joint and 90 degree bend that I also purchased.

Thought I would use this in conjunction with other 28mm downpipe connectors to route both 8’x6’ Regent greenhouse gutters into one butt. However, use of T joint connector meant not needed. Also the 2 x 1.6 downpipes supplied with greenhouse were sufficient length when one cut down to route around corners not to need another downpipe.
