The WG70 woodfired outdoor oven will make a centrepiece to your outdoor living. Made from thick refractory clay, the oven stores the heat of the fire in the dome and the fire-brick base and cooks your food in a whole new way. Amazingly, the outside doesn't really get very hot showing just how efficient these ovens are. Once warm they use very little wood.
Although we call it a pizza oven, It's really so much more.
You can cook a roast dinner on it, bake bread, slow cook a shoulder of pork, bake cakes and, well, anything you like really that can be cooked in an oven
This model is about 70cm wide inside the oven and about 84cm long.
To heat the oven you need some dry logs (the drier the better). You light the fire at the rear of the oven slightly to one side. Light it well before you need to cook to allow the heat to build up. Once up to temperature, just a single log will keep it up to cooking temperature.
This model includes a very comprehensive user guide including how to cook and various recipes.
Also included are steel stand with lower shelf, flue, Faux-Granite shelf, removable oven door and pizza paddle.
Delivery is a kerbside delivery in a palletised format. You will need to assemble the steel sub frame and then lift the oven onto the stand. This is a job for at least four strong men as it is quite heavy We recommend that you bribe your friends to come and help you with a promise that you will light it for them once assembled!
You can put it straight onto your own brick base if you wish to not use the stand.
