When you're constrained for space to locate a greenhouse in your garden and can't quite fit in a 6' wide model, then the Stafford is the answer. At 5'3" wide it has a stocky appearance and its proportions probably make the Stafford one of the strongest greenhouses in the Simplicity range.The Stafford now has a 2' wide double door and has a good eaves height of 5'4"*. Now comes complete with toughened safety glass as standard.
Compared to other greenhouses, Simplicity greenhouses are manufactured in relatively small numbers here in the UK.
Most greenhouses do not include diagonal roof braces. Simplicity models come complete with 4 (or 2 on the smallest models). These useful additions dramatically improve the strength of the frame, plus they make the greenhouse easier to assemble because they make the greenhouse more inclined to go up square.
All prices for this model include a sturdy aluminum base 4" high, complete with anchors. The Alu base gives you a firm foundation which can be assembled on soil, slabs or concrete and makes the job of assembly quicker and easier
The unique Simplicity double box section corner bar gives the frame more rigidity than most other greenhouses. Along with the exclusive foam cushion glazing seal, this helps prevent loss of panes in windy weather. In our simple test, we were able to suspend 6 bags of cement (150kg) where as other makes of greenhouse were buckling with 50- 75 kg
Door wheels are made from nylon for hard wearing characteristics. The door wheel bolt is turned from solid brass with a smooth shank to reduce wear on the wheel. This costs us more than other ways of doing it, but we know how frustrating it can be if wheels disintegrate on your greenhouse after a few years- and spares can be hard to come by

- E = Door width: 628mm (2ft).
- F = Door height: 1,722mm (5ft7).
- All measurements include the base.
Q. I have been looking at your Simplicity Stafford range of green houses , do i have to put it togther myself or will it come constructed?
A. All Simplicity Greenhouses come flat-packed for self-assembly with very clear instructions that are created in-house by our British Design team. The Design team are on hand to offer advice by e-mailing [email protected]. If you'd like somebody to erect it for you: The Good News is that we'll send you a list of (self-employed) fitters with your order confirmation for you to contact directly.
Q. With full sheet toughened glass, if I have extra louvres will I need to cut the glass to make them fit?
A. No, you won't have to do that. We automatically adjust the toughened glass for you, it is quite often the case that extra louvres and vents are added. You will have the correct glass delivered.
Q. Is the glass kept in place with clips on the outside?
A. Yes, with the Simplicity Stafford 5x6 the glazing clips are fitted from the outside.

A good product and I am really pleased with it. I would say that the instructions are not particularly clear and it would have gone together a lot quicker if I had not had to decode the instructions first.

The greenhouse arrived when I was out and was left as instructed. It went together as explained and is strong and sturdy. I had 1 auto roof and 1 auto louvre vent which fitted and worked well. Doors work well and the guttering is good and about to be connected to the water butt. I did have a louvre opener fail and was sent a free replacement cylinder by return. The customer service is excellent and they are very responsive. Highly recommended on service and price.

I purchased the Simplicity 5x6 greenhouse and haven't been disappointed, as the name suggests it was simply to erect, the instructions were clear and corresponded well with the pieces of the greenhouse. This is a great greenhouse, whether you are starting out or a real green fingered gardener. The service received was great, well informed throughout the processes from order to delivery. Would highly recommend.

I bought the Simplicity Stafford 5x6 in Spring 2019 and am very happy with it. The delivery process was excellent - it arrived on time and was safely left at my house although nobody was in. The installation instructions were reasonably good, although a few more words to accompany the pictures would have helped! Make sure you read through everything (and look at the pictures!) before you start, then you'll have a better idea of what's involved. Installing the frame really requires two people, but the glazing job can easily be done by one. I like the bar-capping system, which seems much easier and more secure than the usual metal clips.
