All Shedfast apex sheds include at least one double pane fixed window. The window uses toughened safety glass and a pvc cill. The longer your shed the more windows there are included.
Due to the modular design of our sheds, the windows can be positioned all down one side, on either side of the shed and one can even be fitted in the gable end.
Our unique roof trusses are used every 4ft. Providing a rigid and strong support for the roof panels. The roof truss can also be used to store plant canes or light long handled garden equipment, where the shed has more than one roof truss.
The 28mm x 44mm framing is double the strength when the panels joint together, creating a heavy duty 56mm x 44mm frame.
A heavy duty padbolt lock is fitted as standard to the door. Add a simple padlock and your shed will be very secure!
Assembling our Shedfast apex sheds is a two person job. Assembly of the side sections is made easier by one person holding the 2 panels together, while another person screws the panels together from the inside.
3 heavy duty black strap hinges are supplied with each shed fast door, safely securing the door to the shed and allowing the door to be opened back onto itself.
The corner bracing in each panel, provides stability and rigidity in each panel. This also keeps a perfectly square timber section.

In fact, The Greenhouse People first made a modular shed in 2017 with the launch of the cedar Fusion model. Since 2017, modular palletised sheds have become widespread in the industry. The Shedfast range of apex sheds utilises a similar modular design approach to the Fusion, whereby the building is made up of 4ft panels and 2ft panels, either plain, window or door that are interchangeable with separate panels to form the apex or pent on the gable ends and a modular floor system. In practice, this means that you can decide the position of your door and windows when you are assembling the shed. The door can go in the gable end or on the side and the same to be said of the windows too.
Shedfast apex sheds include tall eaves, which means higher headroom and more storage space. Other features include; fixed toughened safety glass windows with pvc cills, solid timber tongue and groove roof and floor manufactured from the finest North European redwood and a high quality, polyester backed black mineral roofing felt provided.
The modular roof system uses a truss every 4ft which gives the shed extra stability and strength. Although trusses are commonly used in the shed industry, we are particularly proud of our unique design.
Every panel is factory treated in a premium protector treatment in a pleasant golden sunset colour.
All these features means Shedfast apex sheds are built with longevity in mind.
A 2-year guarantee is also included for peace of mind. We recommend that you re-treat or paint your shed immediately when it is assembled, Although the factory coating should last up to a year, you will significantly reduce the natural movement in the timber if you apply one of our recommended treatments within two weeks and you will be well on the way to having years of happy shed life if you do so. Luckily we can pop you a tin of suitable stuff on the pallet for you if you choose to buy one now with your shed
