I noticed when the hoe arrived that it had jagged edges to the blade and bits of the metal were missing. Quite frankly this should not have passed inspection and certainly should not have been posted to me. The replacement was fine but I had the hassle of organising this. As the replacement only arrived two days ago, I have not had the chance to try it out yet so cannot comment otherwise.

Good quality. Great for annual weeds. Can easily get to the base of perennial weeds also good for preparing the ground for individual plants and cutting through tough soil. Really pleased with my Japanese Razor Hoe.

I have been looking for a replacement for my Japanese hoe that I bought in Japan 22 years ago and broke last year. Delighted to find this. Needed to be sharpened but great for rough terrain weeding.

I have only used briefly but it seems a good tool and did what I bought it for.

Exactly what I thought it would be like. Effective tool.

This is one of the most brilliant tools for hand weeding, far superior to using a trowel as you use a pull action, rather than a push action with all the attendant jarring. Seriously thinking of getting a second one for my wife! Easily resharpened with a standard stone.

A handy little tool. Perhaps the shank is a bit on the crude side where it meets the blade, and I've yet to gauge its rust-resistant qualities, but I like it so far.

Sturdy well made tool. Invaluable for clearing overgrown and neglected garden boarders.

PLEASED WITH THIS TOO,SOFAR ,AS I,VE PUT JUST THE FRAME IN THE GREENHOUSE, MY TOMATO PLANTS ARE GROWING UP THROUGH THE FRAME AT THE MOMENT,THAT IS WHY I WANTED WOODEN SLATES SO I CAN REMOVE THEM WHEN NEEDED, YES VERY HANDY AND I ,VE GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. THANKU...........

a very handy little tool

This device looked good and having bought one I find it just as good as I expected it to be. It is robust and should last a good while.

The shading works extremely well My only comment is that we had to ask for instructions on how to fit it, however we were sent instructions very promptly when requested.

This seems to be a high quality frame and it looks good too. It was fairly easy to assemble. The only thing that might be useful would be some way of fastening secure wide open to water things if it's raining or when lifting things in and out so it's not a 2 person job.
