I bought this to replace a broken mercury type max/min thermometer. I like this one very much, it is very easy to read and I hope it lasts as long as its predecessor!

A great little thermometer, easy to read and easy to reset.

Have successfully used other tomato growpots, but these look much more substantial.

Can't wait to use this, when the weather, and the soil, improves!! Hopeful it will prove to be 4/5 star.

The product appears to be well made although the reflector in the hood is made of cardboard - time will tell if it will last - and the base moulding where the posts slot in looks like a weak spot which may break in time. One of the two tubes was broken on my unit and I'm awaiting a replacement.

The materials of construction seem to be durable, of good quality and I found it relatively straight-forward to assemble. However, it is very light and susceptible to winds. As a resullt, I have a couple of constructive suggestions. 1. Some form of clip is needed to hold down the lids as even quite a moderate wind can flip them open. 2. The pegs provided are not adequate to hold the frame down on "normal" garden soil. I have fastened mine to heavy timber runners, which also gives additional internal height.

I compared your trugs with other, cheaper, products but concluded that yours looked sturdier and also had feet to help prevent the legs rotting. I am delighted with your product which was delivered promptly and erected easily. I haven't been able to use them yet due to the adverse weather here on the West coast of Scotland but I am sure they will fulfil my expectations of becoming a successful veg grower. Moira McAlpine

Nifty product and does the job, in fact I bought two. They bring germination on at a much faster rate thus freeing up modules for the next batch of seeds. For the price they are incredible value. Low running costs too
