The Simplicity Stableford is a well proportioned greenhouse with a generous door height of 6'8". It eaves are a good height too at 5'4".
Most greenhouses do not include diagonal roof braces. Simplicity models come complete with 4 (or 2 on the smallest models). These useful additions dramatically improve the strength of the frame, plus they make the greenhouse easier to assemble because they make the greenhouse more inclined to go up square.
All prices for this model include a sturdy aluminum base 4" high, complete with anchors. The Alu base gives you a firm foundation which can be assembled on soil, slabs or concrete and makes the job of assembly quicker and easier
The unique Simplicity double box section corner bar gives the frame more rigidity than most other greenhouses. Along with the exclusive foam cushion glazing seal, this helps prevent loss of panes in windy weather. In our simple test, we were able to suspend 6 bags of cement (150kg) where as other makes of greenhouse were buckling with 50- 75 kg
Door wheels are made from nylon for hard wearing characteristics. The door wheel bolt is turned from solid brass with a smooth shank to reduce wear on the wheel.
This Ultimate package comes with a host of additional features, all included as standard; a complete run of staging down one side, two sturdy PVC down-pipes allows for effective water collection, roof and louvre vents (number of each dependent on the size of model), toughened safety glass throughout, and finally, PVC bar capping replaces the standard glazing clips, providing superior glass retention.

Q. With full sheet toughened glass, if I have extra louvres will I need to cut the glass to make them fit?
A. No, you won't have to do that. We automatically adjust the toughened glass for you, it is quite often the case that extra louvres and vents are added. You will have the correct glass delivered.

We love our greenhouse. Great purchase from the Green House People. It took us a few days to install on an existing base. The customer service was exceptional: 1) I broke a couple of panes during installation (not sure how, I didn't bang it - it just exploded - without any injury; that's the beauty of toughened glass). I phoned and without any quibble, they sent me replacement pieces which arrived the next morning. 2) During installation, I had a bit of a problem with the doors slightly catching on the rivets above. Within a few minutes of calling, an engineer called me back and emailed some simple advice and the workaround was perfect. The installation requires very careful reading of the manual, but actually it was great fun as a family project this weekend. Highly recommend.
I bought this greenhouse with auto openers, louvres and bar capping in October 2018 to replace my forty three year old model which had reached the end of the road. Delivery was as seamless as described by other sustomers and erection, assisted by two sons, was an interesting operation during a fortunate window in the November weather. I passed many pleasant winter days installing customised basket rails, tomato supports and training wires etc, and then had the best greenhouse year I can remember. We are in a notorious wind pocket but despite the extreme weather of 2019 the Stableford was as solid as a rock and waterproof. This winter, having fumigated inside and cleaned/sterilized the glass I shall be making new staging to complete the job. For overall value, quality, strength, perfomance. service and customer satisfaction my Stableford would be hard to beat. Although I might not be around to see it, I am sure it will equal the lifespan of its predecessor. I
Purchase the 12' x 8' Simplicty Stableford greenhouse with tempered glass. Looks fantastic with nice, solid construction and excellent ventilation. Had a minor problem which was very quickly resolved by the Greenhouse People David M, Kent
I bought a Simplicity Stableford 8 x 12 greenhouse. I was a little worried as we are very exposed and at 1000ft. As a precaution I opted for the bar capping for securing the glass. Now after more than a year in place, and an exceptionally windy winter, it is still in perfect condition. Assembly took two of us and for glazing you DEFINITELY need at least two! My only complaint is that I should have bought a longer model!!!
